I’ve spent the last week unsubscribing from the myriad of mailing lists I’ve somehow gotten on. It’s very satisfying but there are so many - they just keep coming. As if to taunt me quite a few then send and email to tell you that you are now unsubscribed

Because some people aren’t trustworthy. I’ve come across machines on several occasions where the previous person has just done a runner. Random checking is a relatively efficient strategy (like random breath testing)

In Norway and noticed situational strategies for self-service checkouts I’ve not seen elsewhere. 1) a requirement to state you have scanned all items (set rules) 2) automated random checks on purchases by staff (formal surveillance) & 3) scanning receipt to activate exit barrier (screen exits)

Been off Twitter 63 days now and counting. Been nice to be SM free for a while. Ready to cautiously commit to Bluesky. Hoping it it isn't a gateway drug. (Sounds like I'm in an AA meeting)

My first post on this platform. Apologies if this has already been discussed, but can ask you all have you completely abandoned the 'other' platform, or are you keeping a presence on both, and if so how is that working?
