I’ve finished Death Stranding 2, and honestly, it was worth Kojima starting his own studio.

The creative freedom in it really reminded me that games can still be fun, weird, and full of personality instead of feeling like a chore to play.

Yeah, Death Stranding 2 is insanely worth playing.

It's Kojima at his absolute best, and absolutely packed full of his inspirations of books/movies/music. While playing it, it feels like you're going on a journey through all the cool arts that have had an impact on him.

What I love about Death Stranding and DS2's storytelling is the power of intentionally sometimes having characters NOT speak any dialogue in a cutscene. It's... I dunno... more realistic to how people interact in real life too!

So like, we all are here and survived a pandemic. Even if it was a few years ago, take time to evaluate your own situation. Society may be pushing on, but it's ok to admit you're still affected.

Your composer(s) also deserve a huge pat on the back. The whole thing beginning to end was so full of energy!

It's literally my GOTY, and was a complete delight from beginning to end. The devs clearly cared about making games.

Honestly, it even triumphes over Paper Mario in some ways!

I have no idea how they did it but Escape From Ever After is one of the best games I have played in a LONG time. These are super talented devs we all need to be supporting.
