Finishing this audiobook as we speak. I’ve enjoyed so much, that I might just start over at the beginning of the series. There’s so many characters and such great world building, that a refresher is in order. That and I just love all the characters so much.

What question was he even supposed to be answering here?
We saw every movie and read every book about robots and AI killing us and said “yes let’s make sure that happens to us for real.”
Oh, they’re laughing at him, but it has nothing to do with his transportation.
I substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream in my baked potatoes. That’s the only place I really eat sour cream, so can’t say for other things.
We definitely are in the era of "rich dipshit dickheads disrupt something good because they think they have a better idea, but they don't, and then that fails, and then they have to go back to the good thing but have ruined a lot of shit along the way, oopsie-doodle, still gonna get paid, bye."
“There was HBO Go (2008), HBO Now (2015), HBO Max (2020), Max (2023) and now, once again, HBO Max (2025).”

Every single commercially successful book I've ever written got rejected the first time I pitched it. Every single one.
He did a dinosaur one on Apple+. So this seems like the next step. I love it and would watch.
Since we’re in a golden age of new Star Wars tv shows, I’ll again pitch “David Attenborough style nature documentaries but of fictional Star Wars creatures.”
No empire. No Jedi. Like, what the Jedi would watch on tv to relax after a stressful mission.

Today I learned that the Onion has horoscopes. 🤩

Virgo (August 23 to September 22): Remember: Always be thankful for all you have. And vengeful for all you’ve lost.
Yes. Yes, I shall.
The unexpected sound of a #porcupine asking for food is … polite. Despite their spiky defense, porcupines are gentle herbivores and they’re surprisingly vocal. It’s common they chatter or hum when they’re hungry, especially in human care
This seems right, and all of this is WRONG.
Called my congressman who voted for the SAVE act.
Me: What documents will I need to vote if this passes?
Staffer: a DL and birth certificate.
Me: The documents don’t match
Staffer: Then a marriage certificate.
Me: Will my husband need the marriage certificate too?
Staffer: No
Me: See the problem?
I want to go back to a time with @theonion.com just made me laugh. Not laugh and then want to cry and then want to punch something. They hit too close to home sometimes.
20 animals in the wild is the brink of extinction
I wish scientists would put this much effort into saving the Red Wolf which is still here, but with grave numbers. Less than 20 in the wild and 270 in human care. www.fws.gov/project/red-...
NBC News: The Espionage Act contains a provision making it crime to disclose national defense secrets "through gross negligence."
The law does not require info be classified, because it was written before the classification system existed. The law refers simply to "national defense information."
All I keep thinking about is how Pete Hegseth raised questions of the competency of a Black four-star general and Air Force fighter pilot who was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Hegseth asked did he get the job “because of his skin color? Or his skill? We’ll never know, but always doubt.”
History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.

WTF people. There shouldn’t be this much litter on the side of the road. That’s like a semi load of litter. Be better people. Great job to the volunteers that picked up after a bunch of adult children.
