I haven't watched the clip, but I'm told that the accompanying text does not at all say what he said....

I resisted for years. The last year has been intolerable, for me personally. A small dose of Zoloft for several months have helped me tremendously. My life as a woman is much easier than lots of women I know. Trump needs to shut the fuck up.
It was the hardest thing about moving to the burbs to be with my hubby. I rollerbladed to work in NYC, and it felt so free and easy. I looked for any alternative, train, bike, drive somewhere and bike to work from there. Nothing. I'm in a car 2 hrs a day.
OMG, I feel totally victimized by Santacon!! I used to live on the Upper East Side and I didn't think anything could be more annoying than St. Patrick's Day. Santa said, hold my beer....
I recently took on "How Deep is Your Love" in my music lessons and it was such a better song than I remembered.
When you lose the third rate swimmer who made a career out of being a victim....
Does that feature two different kinds of potatoes?? I know the meat is the point, but those potatoes are making my Irish heart sing.
But clearly, the alarm was warranted...
In the 90s, when people alarmed about how much data that corporations were gathering, I took it with a grain of salt because I regularly got flyers for car insurance in the mail, living on the UES. You only needed two data points on me, my zip code & my salary, to know I didn't need car insurance.
you ever notice how media uses this weird framing when talking about men and boys?
it's always, "hmm, women are doing better according to this specific metric. how do we help men get back on top?"
I usually take the lids off as soon as I see sprouts. (I'm a very amateur gardener, but I usually start my seeds inside).
wow. just wow. I want the leopards to eat her face, but how can it be her face only? She should have to watch other happy couples marry while being unable to marry herself, if there were justice in the world.
My in-laws voted for Trump because they felt they "weren't as well off" at the end of Biden's term. The thing is- by every objective measure, they were well off, but they listen to media every day that tells them they're being played. And, they think they're good people, but I think they're awful.
This strategy recently worked in Quakertown PA. The MAGA Police Chief/town manager harassed teenagers who staged a protest walkout from his pickup truck, and then got out and attacked them for "hitting his truck". The kids are up on charges and the chief is out on disability, taunting them.
For shows that I actually fall in love with, there's always an episode where it just grabs me. This week's Rooster was absolutely that - it was all so good, but the conversation between Katie and her mom just hit every note and was so real. (I have to stop watching right after watching DTF, though).
I, like many people I've talked to, watched Shrinking and The Pitt back to back. It was jarring for a sec, but then a joy.
Tonight would be a great night for large numbers of military personnel to remember that they are duty bound to refuse illegal orders.
I was impressed by the way that Whitaker approached Robby in crisis last season - he sat down next to him, which was the right human thing to do, but not what I'd expect from a med student on his first day with his big boss. It foreshadowed this Ogilvy moment.
I went to elementary school in a small town in Tennessee, after moving from PA. The kids used to play "Yankees and Confederates" at recess, and chase me around the gym. Not kidding. The still burning flames of the Confederacy were palpable.
They are addressing the specific appalling bet about the downed pilot, but why is anyone ok with any betting having to do with the Iran war???? We are living in the absolute shittiest timeline.
Gary, Indiana - I was there with a theater company. It wasn't the only place we encountered sex workers, but it was the most ingrained.
We're no longer talking about his insane ramblings. Bye Bye Bondi took over the headlines.
I don't think it can be called a feud when only one person is participating.....
and way too many who were alive remember it as a jingoistic patriot song, which it definitely was not.....
Oh god, really? The most traumatic traffic I've ever encountered is leaving Miami Airport in a rental car trying to figure out which damn lane to get in.....
I totally blocked that person today....
Trying to express complex thoughts with word counts is challenging, and if you really want to connect, you have to take the time for context.
It's crazy-making. I get what these folks are upset about, but geez, take a second and give the benefit of the doubt. He meant what they're calling physical conversion is really abuse and everyone assumed he meant talk therapy wasn't "really abuse".

Every time the US goes to war, I make time to read The War Prayer by Mark Twain. I haven't read it since we invaded Iran. I will tonight.
