I hope I can find it somewhere up here in northern CO. Not only is it delicious, but after reading the article, they seem like a great family operation to support!

Two random facts about Fort Collins temperatures:

1. April has been warmer than average.
2. 8 days in March were warmer than all temperatures we've observed in April so far.

Similar stats elsewhere around the Front Range. Still mind-blown by the strangeness of March 2026!

Zoomed in on map of Alaska, with cold pixels over it. Ignoring the warm pixels over the entire rest of the globe.

So much for global warming, amiright?!

If you're not watching For All Mankind, I highly recommend, especially if you've been totally enthralled with NASA the last couple of weeks.

It starts with - what if Russia beat us to the moon first? Fascinating timeline. And also, NASA is really the best in the show.

The thing I notice I do all the time is consider memories "before he died" and "after he died". It's weird when you add more and more memories to the after (2.5 yrs for me). Kinda sad in a way.

Then there's the strange period of memories within a year of him dying, and I think "we had no idea."

This is one of my favorite analogies. You add more experiences in that circle too, but the grief always stays there.

Holy smokes! An incredible start to the 'Wildfire Season' in the US this year - owing to an abnormally hot and snowless winter in some parts of the country.

Maybe not. But this is the problem: Our reps in congress think the same thing and then do nothing, while he creeps further and further over the line to see how far he can go.

We're like frogs in the pot of water. We won't notice when it's boiling until it's too late.

"Longer growing seasons" being amazing is an incredibly simplistic view of the world and how a warmer climate is impacting in.

Are there benefits in some places at some times? Yes. Do those benefits outweigh the overwhelming negative impacts we are experiencing? Definitely not.

🚨🚨🚨 March 2026 was the warmest March on record according to Prism climate data (1895-present). Previously, 2012 was far and away the warmest March, but this March beat 2012 by about half a degree Fahrenheit. This map shows how March temperatures ranked compared to all other Marches.🔥🔥🔥

Meanwhile, in the Lower 48, the March temperature departure from normal is pretty brutal. It'll be close on whether March 2026 will eclipse March 2012 for the warmest on record. My gut feeling is that 2012 will remain the record; but Nov-Mar and Dec-Mar will be new records.
