If vouchers pass in Texas- which they assuredly will- then I will be encouraging everyone that attends non Christian private schools to apply for ESAs. I want the money going schools that will piss off the evangelicals funding this mission. There are some great accredited Islamic schools in Texas!

There is no other party. Democrats or Republican. Right now, MAGA (far right conservative) has a stronghold on Republicans, so we need the moderate and progressive Republicans on the Democrat side to beat MAGA. Any other party is just wasting votes. Now is not the time for piousness.

No, they intentionally added language to make it where Obama couldn’t because he’s served two consecutive terms.

I wish! He wouldn’t be able to. It says no more than three terms and not if they serve two consecutive terms. They did that intentionally probably to ensure Obama couldn’t run.

Remember when they laughed at us and said we were being overly dramatic? Called us crazy; called us conspiracy theorists. Gaslighting at its finest. And it worked because they got the votes they needed. DT doesn’t “joke”. He tells us exactly what he’s going to do.

So hone in on them. Find out their “why” and go from there. We need our publications staying current and providing us the information to use as ammo. Infiltrate the opposition groups and get ahead of their rhetoric. Seemingly small scale efforts but actually very impactful. Worked for them.

We get off our high horses and get down in the mud. We don’t have to fight dirty like they do, but we do have to actually fight. I meant our piousness lost it for us. I agree about energizing our own base, but adding to it couldn’t hurt. Our community voted against something we needed because ONE opponent-not assoc. w/our community-got in the ear of a few vocal community members that were able to sway others w/ lies. Piousness lost it for us. Pivot time.

For this election, yes. But there are other elections & other battles to prepare for. We pander to a few (the vocal ones) and convince them- they end up convincing their circle and so on. Raising our voices trying to be heard isn’t working. We get louder by getting more voices to join us. 📢
