Update: called Direct Line to tweak my furry book/craft business insurance on that side (so basically I'm covered if a display falls on someone 😂) and they were as lovely as always and very easy to deal with.
I managed to get the double size heat pad for nearly half price so I'm quite pleased about this! Hoping to add it to my insurance to use during treatments, along with the smaller one (which will be great for using on the joints). Should be easy enough to add under "heat therapy" 🤞

Lord knows what's going on there, maybe things went screwy with the rebrand and there was a shuffle of staff.

When I asked how the heck I was supposed to know that, they reiterated I had received an email (I had not received an email, checked after since I thought I was being thick).
As they were acting odd and clipped with me, I apologised if my query had caused any trouble and they went "ok, goodbye."
Still no email address at this point. Said "all our CURRENT customers have the email with their renewal" - well, clearly not since mine was last Autumn, renewed and paid.
Finally just told me I had to change the company name X to Y like I should have known that all along.
They got funny and tried to push to amend over the phone, but there's no point in that since I know they will have follow up questions from the underwriters (which is no problem, I just know how the cycle works now). I said it was about class 3b laser and they said it was a beauty policy.
Uh...no?
I explained what happened briefly and asked for the updated e-mail address (and that I'd like to enquire about making an amendment to my policy) and they said "Oh that email should have worked" and just...nothing else.
Ok, but I still need an email, could you help, please? 😂
They've rebranded now from company X to Y. I assumed the old e-mails wouldn't work, so I went to their contact page...which said to use the email on my policy docs. Ok, cool. Did so...and the email didn't work and could not be delivered.
Hm. Ok, so I called in.
(Dental as in - for a dental business insurance.)
I swear my equine bodywork insurance makes it their mission to be as rude as possible. Had trouble renewing last year as they tried to say I had dental insurance instead (no...) and kicked up a fuss about my little red light device (I was asking for it to be added to insurance etc).
I fed the ducks one single time and now they're following me down the lake.
This is a splendid development.

Looking at upgrading to Class 3B cold laser therapy as I've been so impressed by my red light device. Not sure if my insurance will cover it yet though, as it requires eye protection. Sent a query in (before purchasing the device) so fingers crossed 🤞

this is it right here. AI violates Vonnegut's number 1 rule for writers: "Use the time of a total stranger in such a way that he or she will not feel the time was wasted." AI shifts the burden of effort from the writer onto the reader/audience and that is unacceptable
Glad my yard work is easier this week. Just light mucking out, sorting feeds and doing waters, washing tubs. Going to continue with tidying later for £££ since they want the barn area clearing up too. Probably can spray the school of weeds 💪

I considered making this an equine stable yard but I liked the possibilities of using dragons here in a furry world.
And most of my silly livery client scenarios from the horse yard can be applied to dragons... Always use real life experiences to flesh out and ground your work😄
