I truly hate when little Right Wing Hitler youth open their mouths and give opinions in their over sized fake glasses, that they think will make them seem smart ,on things they know nothing about.

But listen to a real farmer rip her apart.

Would NZ join ‘an illegal invasion’ of Iran? That question needs to be asked, Helen Clark says Speaking to Stuff’s Samantha Hayes, Clark said she would “very much hope” that New Zealand does not militarily supporting what she called an “illegal invasion”.

“Certainly, that’s a question that should be asked of the prime minister and defence ministers - would they put boots on the ground to back an illegal invasion” - Helen Clark. #NzPol

Hey instead of making NZ more dependent on fossil fuels extracted from a war zone where the US and Israel routinely start bombing people, let’s embrace renewable energy. #SayNoToLNG

This week's lies, damn lies, and green shoots award goes to Brad Olsen (via Susan Edmunds). This is a particularly disgusting use of data - like so bad that the article should be removed. Let's have a look... [🧵 1/n]

Has your pay rise in the last year been at or above 3.1%? If not, you have taken an effective PAY CUT.

@nzctu.bsky.social has announced that, based on these figures, 68% of Kiwi workers are facing effective pay cuts under this Government this year.

Justice department ‘not investigating’ Renee Good killing in contrast to 2020 inquiry on George Floyd death In 2020, Trump DoJ investigated police killing of Floyd in Minneapolis, leading to four officers’ convictions

The DOJ has decided not to pursue a criminal civil rights investigation into the fatal shooting of Renee Good. Instead, the department has shifted its investigative focus toward Minnesota officials, including Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. Living in the upside down.

Mood of the Workforce: ‘Virtually no praises for Luxon’s performance’ Move over boardroom executives, it’s time to hear what the blue collar workers think of the government, its leaders, and opposition MPs.

“It makes for pretty brutal reading for PM Luxon: "out of touch", "largely absent", "weak",
"invisible", "ineffective leader"
"inauthentic" and "self-interested".”

Brutal but fair. His lack of empathy, attacks on workers rights, a worsening cost of living crisis & cuts to essential services. #nzpol

Claudette Clovin was the first to protest segregated seating by refusing to give up her seat on a Montgomery Bus on March 2, 1955. As a dark-skinned, pregnant teenager, leaders initially overlooked Clovin. Keep her memory alive. Such bravery in challenging Jim Crow should be remembered.

I am proud to cosponsor a bipartisan, bicameral resolution to honor the victims and their families today, and recommit to ending gun and political violence.

The lack of understanding of our primary health care system is a major problem, and it's a major political problem. It's especially a problem because opposition parties also appear to misunderstand how this system works, hence Labour's poorly thought out policy of four free "GP" appointments
