Had my first bike commute this week since congestion pricing went into effect and the improvement is *insane*. Totally transformative.

Tried “Laziness Does Not Exist” but the writing and anecdotes didn’t cut it for me. The book also had praises from several authors, including Cal Newport. Tried “Digital Minimalism” too and it fell flat for me too.

It’s an archaic concept to believe specifically black/brown ppl + tattoos mean “gang member” but that’s the world we’re living in now, unfortunately 😝

-Become a library “friend”
-Purchase their merch or from their book sales
-Volunteer

If you want to read a new book coming out but don't want to buy it, a great thing you can do is ask your local library to order it. The more requests they get, the more likely they are to acquire it and then lots of people will get to read it who othewise wouldn't.
