sent to the Mayor on Tuesday asking an important question: What’s going on with the NYPD Inspector General’s office?

My interns surveyed 216 water fountains in District 6, and found that 10% of fountains don't work.

I passed legislation that will add 50+ water fountains at park entrances, but the work isn't done.

People shouldn't be stuck with broken fountains on a hot day!

I had such an amazing time Tuesday at the reopening of the Delacorte Theater, joined by the incredible Sandra Oh, Peter Dinklage, Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Shakespeare in the Park is a cornerstone of NYC’s cultural life, and I’m proud to support its next chapter!

On Sunday I had a blast celebrating 30 years of the Central Park Dance Skaters Association!

For decades, CPDSA has brought joy and music to the Park, while fighting to protect their right to skate there. I’ve been proud to support them through it all.

I support the retirees in their advocacy to maintain their current health insurance, and not force them into Medicare Advantage.

More drinking fountains in public parks

INT 573-A (sponsored by @galeabrewer.bsky.social) requires @nycparks.bsky.social to install at least 50 water fountains in public parks by 2035.

The @nycfinance.bsky.social returns to my office tomorrow (6/10) to assist with SCRIE/DRIE/SCHE applications & renewals. Appointments available from 10-1; call 212-873-0282 to reserve. NYS must increase the income threshold for benefit eligibility! (I passed a Resolution in support in 2024).
