I have a sensory thing with touching, especially if I don’t know you or like you, so the guy kept putting his arm around my shoulders, I’d move he’d do it again. We sat on a bench to talk, I sat on the far side & he insisted on sitting directly next to me. I never felt so uncomfortable in my life.

The way I see myself & the way others see me are two totally different things. I constantly feel like I have to do better or more for my relationships but in reality I’m doing way more than enough.

Baby steps into my detachment phases are a must.

Being lucky enough to be born with or eventually build a good support system (relatively) easily. Some people only find themselves in relationships that aren’t truly fulfilling and thus can’t learn what that’s supposed to be like without therapy or discernment recalibration through isolation
