Looking at it and it seems like it's all the same stuff that's already on Apple Music. Has it all been converted to Hi-Res? Will new stuff only be added to the app? I have so much Dead music on so many different platforms...just trying to figure out if I NEED another app.

Came here to say this. Billy does a good job, so does Phil in his book “Searching for the Sound.” Billy is more about the vibe and scene around the band, Phil’s is more about the music. I thought the McNally book was a good overall history. The “Grateful Dead Family Album” is pretty cool too

For anyone coming to Billy Stings in Charlottesville next weekend there is free Grateful Dead tribute music on Saturday from 1-4pm at the Ting Pavilion downtown.
