Sometimes you forget how far we’ve come

Seems ever more likely that a schism in Catholicism is coming in the US. Of course, well after the schism of American evangelicals from Christianity.
THREAD: The IEA global energy review 2026
* CO2 record high, but growth nearly ground to halt
* Clean energy shaved 3bn tonnes off CO2
* Fossil-fuel power pushed into reverse
* Age of Electricity "confirmed"
* "Extraordinary" solar growth
* Batteries up 40%
* EVs up 20%

Agree with that, but I guess I rarely enquire about someone's politics after they confidently tell me my home is a shit hole. Think there was more anti City feeling around the gfc though. Either way, the only thing I'm clear on is that the regions loathe the capital.
Everyone in the UK hates London and feels free to tell you. That's the starting point, the ex post justification is then a function of political leaning.
People shouldn't get tax breaks to make themselves poorer.
Sometimes I need to step back and remember how much we've achieved. Now is one of those times.
Not just girls - all teens get offered it, thankfully!
Been some weekend for Leinster and for the Lions.
That is everything I wanted it to be.
Where are you getting this lovely chart from?
So settle this for me. If someone has a little something on the left side of their mouth and you want to let them know do you a) point at the left side of your mouth or b) point at the right side, like a freak.
You see the thing about being an idiot is I am used to eating it. Fair play Leo, good minutes into lots of key players.
Agree with all that. When you maintain that level of performance pretty consistently it really gets on everyone else's tits. The high expectations that we are held to is an opportunity to pull one back by the begrudgers.
I may be in the minority but I do really value the league and want us to win it. But that aside I think treating these two league matches as an opportunity to build a settled "best" 23 (injuries permitting) serves us best in both competitions.
Yeah we need to work out what our best side is and get them playing together consistently. Surely we've managed minutes enough already that we can go for it now.
An out of form Henshaw and Sam having Big Stu charging down their channels has yikes written all over it, but I'm more concerned about the extent of the changes. Yet another 15 put together that are unused to playing together.
the idea that taxing billionaires will give us a bright new socialist future is nonsense, the reason to have a tax code that treats them with maximal hostility is because their wealth is a threat to democracy and stability
Good.
I wouldn't. It would be a nice change for my laziness to have public benefit.
This was really notable for me.
It is quite shit. But ok to have on while I look at my phone. This has the benefit of not having to watch the weird pouting that the lead guy does throughout.
Oooft. That wasn't something I was aware of.
As I radicalise in my middle years, I would have omitted the final three words.
Watching some slop called Person of Interest. It is mesmerising. It is like they decided to cast the character of Zoolander as Jack Reacher. Dizzyingly awful casting.
Yeah great read there. "I want you people to be less poor/fat... Wait, not like that. Suffer you shits!"
This is an A+ take. I've had arguments with my father in law about both and morality/self discipline blah is the common denominator.
Reading children's stories designed to rhyme in a non-rhotic accent with my very rhotic one led to periodic mystification. I'd never felt the difference quite so clearly.
Only the yanks pretend to like that. Woegeous stuff.
Lol
