As of today I am tenured. Happy and relieved. I have convinced myself that there is a wide wide gap between the hype and reality of the powers and security that this new status confers, especially in the US/Arizona today. Tell me I'm wrong...how can I best use my new powers for good?

I use auto-replies. I get them. Can we all just be a little more okay with not getting a reply for a few hours or days? Half the auto replies I get are followed a few minutes later by a non-auto reply anyway. Sorry, this is really just me whinging about the post reply-all chirping of my inbox.
