To be fair, I'm at an optional boss-rush situation towards the end of the game and the boss fights earlier on were much simpler. Still, I gotta commend them for getting creative like that and making this part a real challenge!
Just had my mind blown by a boss fight mechanic. The enemy healer cast Reflect on her party (to protect from my magic,) then Reflect on MY party (which confused me for a turn,) and is now healing her party by reflecting her magic off my party. Bravely Default is such a cool game!

Skyrim's the best I can really come up with for that category, at least to me. It's still fun, but I've had always had my problems with it.
I think I've heard better overall soundtracks, but FTL earns that spot because the Conflict motif has been stuck in my head ever since I heard it.
I've played a decent spread of games and thought this might be fun. I don't usually like boiling things down to a singular one favorites. This one seemed broad enough that it would make me think a bit, though.
