One of the reasons I posted this question for #writerslifemonthly is because I know someone who read The Hobbit to her daughter and recast Bilbo as female, guess what? The story didn’t change.

Diversity doesn’t happen passively in our society, we have to actively think about, check biases.

I love the idea that everyday is XMAS. I write #romcoms, so not the same thing at all, but I love great comedy! Sometimes it's hard to focus for me.

I understand, the call, but BookSirens' authors request Amazon / Goodreads the most, and StoryGraph is not listed I think.

Kerie, it may not be you. I've had to unfollow a ton of accounts because my follower to following ratio might put me in the "spam" class.

I don't want to have to start over.

What I have done is to put people in a list so I can see their great posts without having my posts not be visible.

I am struggling with a rom com novel with a similar issue...

So, the other week, we took Chip, our #shihtzu, to the beach for the first time. I thought he'd hate it. I thought he'd drag at the lead, find some stranger's towel or blanket to sit on, and sulk until we left. Wrong. He loved it!
It was a great reminder to go try new things.
