While the media and most of America is focusing on 'the tariffs', we all need to focus on the budget that is being proposed that will lead to cuts in medicaid & other services while also 'privatizing' some of the government systems we already use for those services.

Why are Dems so stupid? They need to stop 'eating their own'. Massively bad policy. What SHOULD have happened, is that all of the Dems standing up and joining Mr. Green in his protest!

I found this to be a very enjoyable and informative watch; an 'interview' with potter Warran Mackenzie. This is really informative about his work and thoughts about why he enjoys clay and approaches it the way he does.

Trump: "I'd like to buy minerals on Russian land too. If we can. The rare earth. They have very good rare earth also ... we can do deals there."
I hope so!
This teapot is made by Gary Hatcher of Pine Mills Pottery in Texas. Daphne Roehr Hatcher and Gary work together making and firing their pottery in a wood kiln. This has beautiful flashing on the reduced stoneware surface and deftly 'dripped' colored glazes on the sides. BTW it pours beautifully.
Another favorite teapot in our collection is this somewhat small but remarkable pot by Robert Archambeau from Manitoba, Canada This piece is stoneware that is soda fired then sandblasted and oiled. The lid is produced by the lost wax method and is bronze with an applied patina.
Really just starting out on Bluesky, and most of my posts are political ones shared from news outlets, etc. Thought I'd start posting some pots from our collection. This is one of my slab built and thrown teapots from the late 1970's. Stoneware, reduction fired with cane handle.
