This arc is maybe the best writing I’ve ever done — certainly on this book. It’s tough to do yet ANOTHER take on an origin story we’ve seen several times (and seen done /well/ several times) and I think I’ve put my stamp on it.
It's *unreal* how good this is.
The storytelling is terrific. Your eye flows from panel to panel with ease & you feel the atmosphere.
The dialogue is fantastic.
Genuine and dramatic when needed, but also witty in a way that made me go "Oh that's right, Brandon's a comedian!"
