As I keep saying, I want AI to do my laundry, not my thinking.

I adore roast potatoes. I respect anybody else's right not to but I'm also sad that they're not experiencing the same joy of eating them.

Oh yes Word has a shockingly bad layout engine but as a software developer I can assure you that the goals of the product management will have been aligned on some kind of vision that probably only occasionally correlates with what the users might actually appreciate. Like a better layout engine.

I'm pretty sure a future administration would remove it with wide public approval.

It is also one of my favourites and I should watch it again very soon. I was for some reason thinking about it the other day, too.

It's pretty awesome watching live things from the Artemis 2 crew conducting observations as they fly around the moon.

It's a shame we can't seem to do this cool stuff without also completely ruining everything here on Earth over and over and over again.

I'm confused why it was ever an issue and there ever needed to be such a rule. Surely we're all intelligent enough to handle the idea that Erdbeermarmelade is strawberry jam because German is a different language so they have different words.

That's home. That's us.

That's home. That's us.

This image of home just came down from the Artemis II crew.

Taken after their translunar injection burn, there are aurorae at top right and lower left, and zodiacal light at lower right.

It really doesn't seem very difficult.

And if they want something more it seems people aren't happy about bombing Iran on a whim and then having no way to deal with the obvious consequences so maybe the historically successful "no more wars"

Nothing at all

I've been told that advancements in LLMs have made prompt engineers unnecessary already...

I've yet to find a use for the things myself.

Yes what is in the box???

One thing I have noticed is that this administration doesn't have a good sense of coherent thinking. Probably because the President is delusional.

First you elect 60 Democrat senators...

I think it might have been even more straightforward than that: their complaint is that they didn't win.

Probably because it's too horrifying to market to children

Exactly what I was thinking! They're not portions they're family rations.

Yes it's Trump's problem so why are we letting him use our bases to make it worse?

It might also be something to do with warm hands and melty fats which is pretty important but you could also use a spoon if it's just that! A metal one is probably better though.

My Mum taught me to use a butter knife to mix pastry dough. I'm not sure of the idea behind it, maybe there's a thought that it helps stop you over mixing it and over developing gluten which would lead to tough pastry, but there are definitely better ways. I like a dough whisk or a food processor.

Pretty much entirely predictable after the brutality of the crackdown last time. And now somehow these idiots expect the Iranians to try again while they're being bombed??

My sister used to do that. I'm sure it helped her memorise the routes she did for work at the time much more quickly.

I remember that I used to find my way places in the car without a Satnav.

I do not remember how I used to do that without stopping often to consult a map.

Maybe that's what I did. I suspect I had a larger working memory for upcoming turns.

She doesn't seem like a particular fan based on some of her prior statements.

Can he please look up "divisive" and "sectarian" in a dictionary before he uses those words again because I'm pretty sure he doesn't know what they mean.

Her statement was a masterclass in absolutely not understanding what happened even slightly.

I'm amazed by how clear a victory it was as well. What an excellent night for the Greens and a bit of hope for the whole country.

They have already more than implied it. Apparently they think persuading people to vote for you by not being a horrible person is cheating.

But if it does figure, one can see why they'd reject Reform's economics as being more of the same Tory nonsense (and indeed the same Tories) that got us here, and Labour's because of how little they've turned things around since taking power and how much they keep chasing Reform votes.

The stupid decision would have been electing the Reform candidate who clearly holds the large Muslim population of the constituency in utter contempt. Overall economic policy probably doesn't figure very highly with people voting for a party to now have five MPs. Or even nine, in Reform's case.
