Just a 5% catch probability on this ball, though that's rounded up. 0% estimated success rate on Savant.
Teodosio ended the game with this beauty, covering 83 ft in just 4.2 seconds. His jump was an incredible 10.9 ft above average!
It's funny, he's pretty overrated as a defender (I don't usually pile on, definitely not the worst), but so underrated as a hitter.
This is just for fun, I promise. It's accurate (who do you think you're dealing with?) but really not serious.
Also, DRS was only around for the second half of Jeter's career, so his number would actually be much, much lower.
It's early, but Konnor Griffin (+2) already has 164 more career Defensive Runs Saved than Derek Jeter (-162).
Many eye testers were unhappy that this ball Ceddanne Rafaela missed the other day had a 65% catch prob. Thanks to Statcast 3D, we can see the rare misread and poor route.
If Ceddanne broke to the wall he catches this so easily the same people mock the 65% number because they think it's routine.

15% catch probability on this ball. Happ makes the good read, takes the direct route, and finishes with a nice diving grab. 47 feet covered in 3.3 seconds of opportunity time.
A lesser outfielder makes a diving catch here and it's a candidate for play of the year
Ceddanne Rafaela makes a 5% play look about as easy as one possibly can. Barely a reaction from the broadcast:

Harrison Bader is unlikely to repeat his batting line from last season, but this is a needed defensive upgrade in CF for the Giants.
In 2025, Giants CF were dead last in baseball in DRS, 28/30 in FRV, and 29/30 in DRP (Baseball Prospectus).

MLB released Gold Glove predictions today! I agree with almost all of them, only vary on NL LF and maybe AL 1B.

MLB pitchers have already thrown more 96+ MPH pitches than the entire seasons of 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014.
And fastball usage is down from that time. Just 55% in 2025, all those years fastballs were more than 62% of pitches.
