Added to that, the main building is officially called the Malet St. building, even though the entrance on Malet St. was closed about 20 years ago, and the new (Central) building does actually have an entrance on Malet St.

My uni acquired a new building next door to the main one, and called it the Central building. So every October we get new students trying to get into the Microbiology research labs in the main building for an economics seminar, because they reasonably expect 'Central' to mean the main building.
Is there a Mezzanine floor? That's always fun for visitors to figure out.
They’re brilliant. My best views of them have actually been in London. That was on the River Ravensbourne in Lewisham, but I expect they can be found on other London rivers too.
I am very sad to hear this, I loved his show as a teenager.

Drop your crime fighting Catholics.
I've never seen Buggs Bunny at Elmer's End.
I guess they don’t do migraines in Czechia?
The O2 arena in Prague with a video screen showing Ilya Malinin and his Dad.
A statue of an ice hockey goalie embracing a female figure skater who is holding a puck.
A statue of a boy putting ice skates on.
We’ve just seen Ilya Malinin win his third World title. Now for the ice dance.
A random church (I think) near the centre of Prague, it is floodlit at night, with a cobbled street in the foreground.
We arrived in Prague this evening, my first visit since January 1991. Going to the figure skating world championships tomorrow.
One of the regular guards on the Portsmouth Harbour train usually announces that "We will be rolling into the Harbour at ..."
This has just reminded me of the time I went to a recording at BH. I was wearing cycle shoes with cleats, so I took them off to avoid triggering the body scanner. I then realised that several other people in the queue behind me were copying me and removing their (non-cycling) shoes as well.
I do miss those rivers, they were among my favourite things about living in Catford.
I’ve just remembered Boris Johnson, while Mayor of London, falling in the river at the confluence of the Pool and Ravensbourne, during a publicity stunt about keeping rivers clean or something like that.
The Ravensbourne catchment was good for them. As well as Brookmill Park, I saw them at Ladywell Fields and I think also on the Quaggy at Manor Park. My partner also saw them on the Pool River.
About 15 years ago, i regularly cycled past Elverson Rd station, I remember watching a grey wagtail nest in a hole in the wall just above the river. I also saw a kingfisher a few time downstream by Brookmill Park.
Show someone who absolutely rocks a hat (that isn't Indiana Jones).
Good luck! Although I was fortunate enough to get a tour (maybe it was less popular then) I found it exciting just being there.
If you are visiting CERN, it should be great. It's about 20 years since I visited but it was a very memorable trip. It was during construction of the Large Hadron Collider and we got see some of the huge detector devices.
Oh no! I just found out that the miniatures section is temporarily closed for restoration. Sorry.
If you are staying in Lyon and don't already have a full itinerary planned, this is a great little museum. The cinema history stuff is quite interesting, but the miniatures are amazing.

I am so sorry for your loss. Parkin's Twitter account was such a consolation to me after we lost our cat Misty nearly 8 years ago.
There’s a nest cam on an office block near Woking station (and three other cams to keep an eye on the young after they start exploring).

I want it too, it would be an acceptable consolation for my dream home Eltham Palace being unavailable.
A similar summary of Eltham Palace would be:

122 Portland Place, where Richard Hannay began his journey to Scotland in The 39 Steps.
Sorry to bombard you with so many suggestions, but I’m enjoying this. I used to live on the Corbett estate in Catford, named after Archibald Cameron Corbett. A Scottish property developer, philanthropist and MP.
There are plenty of Scots who made their name in London with relevant places of interest - Alexander Fleming museum, Thomas Carlyle’s house, the Peter Pan statue.
