oh 1000%, Screwattack and Game Grumps did so much damage to the way the game was viewed and many of them just Didn't Play It Right or care about what they were doing

I'm thinking I'll secondary her as I do Millia and either just pocket Bedman? or drop him entirely. Anji's still my main, as his gameplay loop is still pretty identical bar some reduced damage / combo potential.

AWWWWW yeah I was wanting her since Season 1, she's so far really enjoyable to play!! in the end, Anji wasn't nerfed AS MUCH as I thought he was, he definitely still was but he's still got some combo game, just not the best combos he used to have. Millia seems really interesting now with the ways they adjusted her kit tbh, and Jam seems fun if a little big button centric! Nice patch.

with my main being given some hard nerfs and my secondary being... a very mixed bag of buffs and nerfs, I think I'll be playing some Jam for real over the next few months but still keep Anji and Millia fresh, hopefully those two are still fun to play

for the held version, it is instead the "double happiness" 囍 character shuang xi, obviously implying great fortune which makes sense given it often is where you see this circular character design! very very nifty and cool, it's also where the "shuangxi" on her sleeves is from and all

something fun I discovered about the visual effects for Jam's power up: the icon displayed behind her is a stylized version of one of the characters in those respective moves!

for Ryuujin, it's 龍, meaning dragon

for Gekirin, it's 鱗, meaning fish scales

for Ryuutsui, it's 鎚, meaning hammer

oh and for my girl Millia, possibly the most mixed bag of any character I reviewed yesterday night

very interesting adjustments and Lust Shaker may launch on the final hit of any of the mashed versions? very intriguing

I'm excited to play Jam as well, and see how all this goes tomorrow!!
