I raised this issue with the Mayor two years ago calling for a unique approach to policing in Kilburn due to these complicated police boundary issues.

Kilburn is split by three Police units across Brent, Camden and Westminster which has often led to the area not having a single coordinated approach to tackling crime.
Great to see some actual positive results after a Policing operation with all three units working together.
Great response on the #labourdoorstep today campaigning in Pinner South ward for our Harrow Labour candidates Dinesh Murugesh-Warren, Hamda Ali and Rangdatt Joshi ๐น
Wishing a joyful and blessed Vaisakhi to all those celebrating. ๐พโจ
May this special festival bring happiness, prosperity and new beginnings to you and your loved ones. Itโs a time to come together, give thanks, and celebrate community, faith and the harvest season.
Happy Vaisakhi! ๐ผ
Out on the #labourdoorstep with our brilliant Brent Labour Welsh Harp team ๐น
Great to see our hard working Labour Dollis Hill ward Councillors and candidates for May 2026 out engaging with residents today. ๐น๐น๐น
โWarmest wishes for a Happy Orthodox Easter.
โMay this season of new beginnings bring you peace, prosperity, and joy. Wishing you a wonderful day of celebration and reflection as we celebrate the triumph of light.
Congratulations to Patel Paan and Food for opening their third store in the heart of Ealing Road.
Freshly steamed Momos are their speciality - do go down and have a try!
I fully welcome the new investment into youth services from @sadiqkhanlondon.bsky.social announced for Brent and Harrow.
The ยฃ30 million announced for London represents the biggest ever investment in youth services following the decimation via the Tory and Lib Dem approach from 2010 to 2024.
A great day of campaigning in Westminster with the @cityhalllabour.bsky.social team. Vote Labour on May 7th โ ๐ณ๏ธ๐น
Great to be in Croydon campaigning for @rowennadavis.bsky.social with the @cityhalllabour.bsky.social team. Rowenna is fighting for investment for Croydon and tackling crime, anti-social behaviour and fly-tipping. If you live in Croydon vote for her and Croydon Labour Council candidates in May.
It was great to join a large enforcement operation at Harrow-on-the-Hill station and see many people caught in the act.
We will continue to push TfL and British Transport Police to tackle this issue. Recouping due fares means more can be reinvested back into the transport network.
People contact us regularly about fare evasion at Harrow-on-the-Hill and other stations across the area.
That is why @gareththomasmp.bsky.social and I have been calling for more enforcement action to clamp down on fare evasion.
Measles can be a serious infection - are you and your children protected?
Getting up to date with your MMRV vaccinations is the best way to stop this highly contagious illness. Check with your GP.
These works are part of wider efforts to improve bus safety and accessibility across London.

โข Alternative walking routes (clearly signposted)
โข Staff on hand at busy times to help
๐ Other services: Underground & National Rail services will continue as normal from Harrow-on-the-Hill.

Almost 1,500 homes have already been built in Brent, and there's still more to come thanks to Brent Labour!
TfL has now announced that the station will undergo detailed feasibility studies which is the first step to getting a lift installed at the station.
We'll continue to work hard to realise this for residents. ๐๐๐จโ๐ฆฝ๐ถ๐ต
Great to be at Preston Road tube station with local Brent Labour ward Councillors Daniel Kennelly and Orleen Hylton.
Orleen and Daniel have been going around the ward door to door collecting signatures for a petition to make Preston Road station step free.
Harrow Labour's Edgware Ward candidates supporting the case for step free investment at Queensbury tube station
Delighted to announce that both Preston Road and Queensbury tube stations will be having feasibility studies to see if they can be made step free.
I'll continue to work hard to make sure that we get as much step free investment across Brent and Harrow. ๐๐ง๐ฝโ๐ฆฝ๐งโ๐งโ๐งโ๐ง๐ง๐ฝ
A lot of work still to do after the Tories left the NHS in its knees but positive to see satisfaction levels in the NHS increasing and on the right track in the latest figures published today.

Out at South Harrow station with @gareththomasmp.bsky.social where we have been raising crime and anti-social behaviour issues in the area with TfL and British Transport Police. ๐จ๐ฎโโ๏ธ๐
Meanwhile, our campaign to get lifts installed at this important station and transport hub continues. ๐๐งโ๐ฆฝโโก๏ธ๐ต๐งโ๐งโ๐งโ๐ง
Great response on the #labourdoorstep in Willesden Green. Took me back to my time as a local Councillor representing some of the roads around this tube station.
Standing in this ward in May are the wonderful team of Saqlain Choudry, George Burn and Prerna Thakkar ๐น๐น๐น
Great response on the #labourdoorstep for Councillors Maxine Henson and Graham Henson who are standing again in Roxbourne ward in May at the Harrow local elections. ๐น
A pleasure to visit Karuna Manor Care Home in Harrow and speak to staff and residents about the importance of culturally appropriate care and services and the need for more of these services in our community.
A pleasure to engage and speak on a panel at the One Jain conference about Police resources and religiously and racially motivated hate crime.
Happy St Patrickโs Day to Londonโs Irish community and everyone celebrating today.
London is stronger because of the generations of Irish Londoners who have contributed so much to our city.
