My year began with an unplanned return to DoS2. For some reason, Tarquin and Ryker, along with that location, bring back pleasant memories of the game's special "fairytale" atmosphere, making me want to return.

This scene from Argenta's quest has stuck in my head. A snowstorm, sparkling snow, a warm, inviting light beyond the gate she's been trying to reach for so long — it seems like a fitting setting for the final artwork of the year.

It's funny that I only finished drawing it towards the end of my second playthrough. Was it worth it to wait so long?

A portrait for my Knight Commander, which I finished back in May. I put the game off for two years(!) because it didn't have a suitable portrait for my oread. And I was too lazy to draw one.

Veilguard won't be canon for me, but my Rook is canon. I was able to love her as much as I loved my other characters.
