Look at the date on the video. Then maybe look up who Matt Lieb is.
He named his media company after a group that committed the genocidal murder of more than a million people, so I guess it starts there.
I hope this is *precisely* what their god looked like

Technically a berry. Fruit, has to be. Although that leads to cucumbers being fruit too, but that's the path I've chosen.
Photo of pigeon on ground, description from ebird: ‘Handsome large pigeon of humid forest and edge in tropical lowlands. Usually seen flying overhead, less often perched in canopy of tall trees. The male is ruddy brown overall and the female is gray-brown overall. Both have a bright-red, creamy tipped bill and extensive dark scalloping and scaling on the neck, chest, and underparts. In flight, note the whitish belly that contrasts with the blackish underside to the tail.’

That 95% means that 1 in 20 triggers a person receives will be failed by their immune system. There's nothing inconsistent about that in a pandemic.
The Lovecraft Investigations podcast: excellent audio drama (also on BBC Sounds, if you have it). S1 - Charles Dexter Ward, S2 - Whisperer in the Darkness, S3 - Shadow Over Innsmouth, S4 - Haunter of the Dark. Then sign up to back this.
This goat’s head rhyton (or drinking vessel) is from late C4th BC southern Italy.
I can’t be the only person looking at this thinking ‘must have one’.

Just saw this in the email newsletter. Thank you for sharing these things. Beautiful art
Mandelson wasn't a low-level admin in any sense. It was a prestigious position in the govt, and he was also the proud overseer of the post-Corbyn Labour power consortium. That rules and widely known concerns were ignored for him is absolutely a resigning offence, and one more on the pile for Starmer
Transgender discrimination is, by its very nature, sex discrimination. Discrimination based on sex is expressly prohibited under Montana’s unique Nondiscrimination Clause––“[n]either the state nor any person, firm, corporation, or institution shall discriminate on account of . . . sex . . . .” Thus, Article II, Section 4 is unequivocal in its intolerance for discrimination based on sex. Because sex discrimination involves a fundamental right under Article II, the appropriate level of judicial review is strict scrutiny. Snetsinger, ¶ 17. ¶28 Being transgender is also a suspect class under the Equal Protection Clause of Article II, Section 4,––“[n]o person shall be denied equal protection of the law.”
MONTANA SUPREME COURT: “Transgender discrimination is, by its very nature, sex discrimination,” and is subject to strict scrutiny under the Montana Constitution.
And the proportions are all wrong, and the ropes are massively longer in real life so you couldn't get this neat framing. She is unbothered though

Painting of a tiny bat-like pterosaur about to catch a dragonfly in mid-air. It is covered in short dense fur, and has a flat, joyful face resembling that of most muppets. It has cute, round, black eyes set wide apart, dozens of tiny teeth, and adorable little claws on its digits.

But you also live it. Live it with me. Anurognathids in the blood
Oh, wait, you want me to tell you about it? Okay.
ITS LITTLE FAAAAACE
Okay, pterosaurs aren't dinosaurs, but I'm going to pretend I don't know that for the purposes of the post. Anurognathids!

Or wherever you get podcasts (if garbled: listening order is in the link). Not readings of the original stories, but modern dramas that loosely use the stories as a foundation. Excellent script, acting, story development, and there are many other Julian Simpson dramas that interlink if you want more
This feels like the first domino falling in an Isaac Chotiner interview
not his accent, but certainly "an"
I did wonder if the whole thing was a plan by a coked-up child of Nathan Barley to get maximum press and then change the headliner, but it wasn't even plotted out as far as that.
Direct action needs to be expensive, and that's really what it's all about, from large nv marches to property damage. We can imagine that organised protest is simply democratic; you show the powers-that-be your numbers on the streets and they back down because of them, but that's not the mechanism.
Policy is created and decided by membership vote, not by committee or leadership

He's as guilty as any of them: fully conscious of what's going on and lying to us all about it. He regularly demonstrates how pointedly bad he is. The problem wouldn't be solved by replacing Starmer, or McSweeney and Mandelson come to that, because it's such a large group of players.
He and his friends calculatedly waged a war on the left with the intention of ending left-wing political representation. They actively sought to harm not just one party but British democracy itself. I think it's a huge mistake to think it's just clumsiness or the Peter Principle at work.
