I would rather give the 10 or so creators I watch who don't have another option some amount of money to watch (or even download the videos). Or maybe youtube could just offer a ad free only tier without the other features.

Can more creators please start having options to watch their videos elsewhere rather than youtube, especially at this point I don't want to spend the soon to be $16 a month for ad free video (when I don't even use youtube music)

i did get the help i needed, it turned out that help was hormones and surgery, and other gender affirming care, sometimes they are so close to understanding

all the llms really provide is a speed up to writing certain code but not necessarily an increase in the quality or performance of said code, so for experienced devs the tooling is far more useful, and any speed up from the llm can be quickly negated by having to validate it and secure it

Hot ai take of the day, the most useful thing out of all of the various AI code agents isnt the ability to generate code but rather all of the tools we have made to help the agents, and if those were packaged for human use you could het most of the benefit of ai without using the llms

one of my theories is that the algorithmic feeds lock into a very specific mindset (and only one) that you may not always be in where as something that you have curated yourself (and has options) can better reflect your whole self and you can switch based on your mood

this is often what i see happen, the actually interesting research from neurips, aaai, etc never makes it to the real world or the real world is too different from the academic research (this happens a lot in cyber ai)
