however I've had a hysto. my partner started spotting again but he didn't go off because keeping his hair was worth some spotting ! side note minoxidil is toxic to pets so I am careful about washing it out and being mindful

really slows the thinning (which can sometimes regrow a bit on its own if the follicles were recently damaged but if it's an older loss that alone won't regrow). I haven't really had any side effects other than a slight drop in libido, but not to pre t levels, so it's ok with me

I am on dutasteride (switched from finasteride a few years ago). I've been on t for a decade, and had a dht blocker for the last 4+ years. I also use topical minoxidil a few times a week. the combination really works, but imo you have to do both at the start. minoxidil will regrow, fin/dut only
