I’m sorry but this gives me Hillbilly Elegy vibes. JD Vance went on TV in 2016 with a similar story to explain support for Trump back then. I’m not being sucked in by these stories again. We gave them 100s of excuses. They gave us an insurrection and a felon for president and Elon Musk.

Stop typing hard about why you want Harris to come outside and say a bunch of stuff she already said back when we actually could have prevented it, close the app, go outside, talk to your neighbors, form a community organization, do some actual work.

Black Americans have to know White Americans more than White Americans know themselves because our survival depends on it.

Yes, @algreen.house.gov 's protest was phenomenal. But his effort was just one of many options available. It's great to recognize and praise Rep. Green's gallantry, but serious question here: what do we gain by denouncing different methods of protest used by other DEMS?

No matter what they say

The most aggravating thing in all this (to me) is the sheer number of you, who believe Black people got high-paying jobs on account of their skin color and not their qualifications. That standards were lowered for us, when the truth is the bars are 10 times higher for us.

This is a good action.

1. After 107 days of campaigning, VP Harris came within 1.5% of becoming our first Black woman POTUS. Plenty of people were extremely excited.

2. Anyone who refused to support her against an existential threat to our country because they weren't "excited" is too irresponsible to listen to.

Well the award for most cowardly, boot-lickingest academic society has squarely gone to the American Society of Microbiology, who has taken down features of various non-white scientists. Absolutely pathetic behavior. Those articles are now coming up as “under review”. Truly sickening cowardice here.
