Don’t know anyone that’s seen it.
Worth the time?

Hadn’t heard of “The Haters.”
Sounds interesting
Any idea what its offending qualities are? Kids thinking for themselves?

Bought a book just because of its title, “Every Arc Bends Its Radian.” Might even read it one day. #booksky #books

Only finished 3 books in March. All 3 were excellent. Spring break is coming so April should provide more reading time. #Booksky

I, too, took this as a Katabasis recommendation.
The reread of Project Hail Mary before the movie was a blast indeed.

If people could see how hard schools work to get and keep kids reading, they would never shame any reader for any reason.

Maybe they will come in overconfident and we can get them.

Agreed. I had a great time.
I wonder what viewers that haven’t read the book think.

I am Four. Started great. Good throughout. Except the ending.
AND Read the How to Train Your Dragon books with my son. As far as I know a conclusion never got published.

Not all wars, but I do have a shelf of WWII books and I always check that section in bookstores for others, just in case. It’s great stuff.

As I get older, it’s hard to tell if I have forgotten stuff or never knew it in the first place. Heard a Rod Stewart song but the display said it was Faces. I have no recollection of him being with them. #random #music #strange

It is possible I have undervalued cheese. Or I take it for granted. Didn’t have Parmesan that would normally top a favorite pasta dish, went on like it was no big deal, but man was I wrong. #random #cheese #food

Any Mary Roach book will teach you something and make you laugh out loud. Guaranteed.

Finished The Correspondent this evening. It is indeed as good as I had heard. Now to decide - what’s next?

The technology is different but I’ve been able to have the ACC tournament on the last 2 days in class (last 30 minutes). It’s fun to watch students watching and reacting.

Negative: Carolina couldn’t pull off any magic tonight. #GoHeels
Positive: Finished Theo of Golden - a definite recommend. #Booksky

Was there any doubt that dook would be on the free throw line a bunch tonight after the whining last game?
And no fouls on Boozer? Come on.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve not tried anything by her yet but now I will.

Ours seems more strongly scented this year. Or I’m not as clogged as in the past.

Was able to start Theo of Golden by Allen Levi today and the first 45 pages are indeed wonderful. All the emotions already. I’ll be trying to get the responsibilities out of the way to quickly resume this evening. #booksky #books

It was one of the finalists for next read but I went with Theo of Golden instead. Your recommendation will likely push it past the other finalists for next next. Thanks.

I wasn’t sure if I should use that joke or go with the likeness to Paul Westhead. Good choice.

Finished the reread of Project Hail Mary and I think it was even better the 2nd time. I really hope the movie is able to capture its spirit. Can’t wait.

Started rereading Project Hail Mary today for a group at school. Was already reading Replaceable You by Mary Roach and Wuthering Heights. Both are great but now it feels like I have to eat my meat and vegetables before I can enjoy the dessert I want to have. #booksky #books

Rereading it now, about a third of the way through, mainly because I couldn’t remember it the way the movie previews suggest.

I remember being a kid and finding out he was a Wilmington native, along with Roman Gabriel, and thinking how cool it was . This was before Michael Jordan hit the national scene.

Sometimes you just need a good spy novel. Don’t remember who recommended it a few years ago but I found it before Christmas at a used bookstore. Gave it a try this week. Definitely recommend #books #booksky
