Overall, this movie was an absolute joyride, reminding me still why I love this silly red plumber. It did almost everything it needed to, and I am super excited for the future. (14/14)

And Luigi's "See if she can find someone for me"? They're getting together for sure. I'm really interested to see how Mario & Peach are going to become a couple, because that seems to genuinely be what they're doing. And now with Rosalina being Peach's sister, - (12/?)

I'm so interested in what they're setting up for the next phase. Star Fox is definitely getting a new game/movie soon, and DAISY IS COMING?! I started bawling the second I saw her. I'm so glad they didn't just have her cameo in this and are giving her something prominent to do next time. (11/?)

- Mario learns to understand Bowser's good side, and...Peach is Rosalina's sister (There is no shot that they've made this fan theory canon. I'm still in shock)...it's all so heartwarming.

The animation, of course, is so peak. Illumination cooked on another level here. (10/?)

They all have relatable arcs and were portrayed with their own weaknesses & strengths. Bowser & Bowser Jr. have the wholesomest father-son relationship I could've hoped for. Peach has been given some well-needed insecurities, Luigi actually plays a prominent role, - (9/?)

The MUSIC. Brian Tyler, you are a legend. So many tracks from the already incredible Galaxy OST all integrated into this orchestral form, with so many others that span the series. I was so happy to hear it all.

I definitely think the main characters were used better than the last movie. (8/?)

- any of them really outstayed their welcome. They all do their roles just fine in this movie. And the Mario stuff...the Red Star, The Ruined Dragon, Dry Bowser, Wart's Bubbles, Mario Maker, and so many other things that I'll save, it makes me so happy to be a Mario fan. (7/?)
