Honored to join the National Action Network for their 35th Annual Convention.

For 35 years, NAN has led the fight for justice and equality. At a time when voting rights are under pressure, that work matters more than ever.

The times demand that we keep pushing forward!

Right here in Prince George’s County, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center is helping power space missions like Artemis II.

As we look toward returning to the Moon and eventually reaching Mars, the work happening at Goddard is shaping what comes next in space exploration #ArtemisII

House Republicans need to act.

Weeks into this unnecessary war, there’s still no clear direction, no real progress, and more questions than answers. It’s time to get serious, come back from your vacations, and do the job the American people sent us here to do.

I made it clear today: Trump’s war of choice is reckless, deadly, and driving up costs at home. House Democrats are forcing Republicans to go on the record with a War Powers Resolution vote. No more dodging.

End this war now before more lives are lost. @housedemocrats.bsky.social @dpcc.house.gov

Trump’s reckless war of choice against Iran is costing lives, spiking gas prices, and hurting our economy. 13 U.S. service members gone. Families are paying the price. The House must act now.

Republicans: stand with Trump or with the American people. Enough is enough.

Threatening mass destruction and committing war crimes is not leadership.

Talking about entire populations this way is not just irresponsible, it’s inhumane. Words like this normalize harm and put real lives at risk. We need leadership focused on protecting people, not escalating an unpopular war.

Spent the morning with Meals on Wheels of College Park delivering meals and connecting with seniors.

This work is about more than food, it’s about care, connection and helping neighbors continue living in their own homes.

Grateful to the entire team that makes this possible.

The Constitution is clear.

The 14th Amendment, written in the aftermath of slavery, guarantees birthright citizenship and equal protection under the law.

We The People will continue to stand up for the Constitution and #SCOTUS must do the same.

Pam Bondi’s DOJ was defined by cover ups, corruption, and the weaponization of our justice system.

Her firing doesn’t erase the damage. While Trump may have fired her, the concern remains: DOJ cannot serve political interests over the freedom and safety of the American people.

The White House doesn’t belong to any one person. It belongs to the American people.

A federal court just made it clear: the rule of law still matters.

U.S. District Judge Leon has halted the $400 million White House ballroom project, ruling that President Trump has no authority to move forward without Congress.

As Women’s History Month comes to a close, we are recognizing the women leading the way today.

Maryland women are at the forefront of NASA’s first of its kind mission to Titan, marking the first time humans are sending a flying machine to an ocean world beyond Earth.

During Women’s History Month, we also recognize her role in breaking barriers as the first woman to serve as Speaker of the House. Her work continues to reflect the values that define Maryland and move our country forward.

Getting kids out isn’t enough. Too many are left to carry that trauma alone, without the mental health care they need to heal.

We have a responsibility to do better—and I won’t stop pushing until we do.

I voted no. We need real oversight, real accountability, and a deal that actually reopens the government. Enough is enough.

Last night, House Republicans had a chance to end this shutdown. Instead, they chose politics over people.

They pushed a partisan DHS bill that keeps ICE unchecked and does nothing for accountability, while workers go unpaid and families deal with the consequences.

Today is Equal Pay Day. Women worked all of 2025 and into March 2026 just to catch up to what men earned last year.
76 cents on the dollar isn’t equality. The pay gap is real, and it’s long past time we close it.

I have 0️⃣ appetite for a $200 billion request for President Trump's war with Iran.

That money could extend ACA tax credits and support families here at home. The deployment of more troops is yet another indicator that we are headed towards another quagmire in the Middle East.

Donald Trump is escalating his unauthorized war with Iran by deploying the 82nd Airborne.

That means more American troops in harm’s way, more taxpayer dollars wasted, and no accountability to Congress.

We cannot allow this to spiral into another forever war.
