I've been going to same #istanbul #bootmaker for 15 yrs. Turan Bey is from Malatya, v. polite & honest. He charges very little for his work & only just upped fee to reheel, clean & shine boots. He wanted same amount to reheel & redye these ones. I insisted on paying him more.

I'm not gifted at maths so understanding economics takes some doing. This image explains #turkisheconomy well. If you buy iphone or cow you pay same amount, roughly AU$3856. 1 yr later phone 's worthless but cow's produced 2 calves. Not bad huh?
