Why do we have to be so polite about it? I'm irritated at this tedious argumentative dance around levels of morality when the very nature of this protest is against something that a lot of citizens view as deeply immoral:

People aren't standing idly by as their neighbors are getting detained and kidnapped. Why are we expecting the resistant party to protest against that in the perfectly presented package where we all feel warm and fuzzy?

Why is the national discussion so focused on what protestors should and shouldn't do rather than directly addressing the force of violent injustice that prompted this protest to begin with instead?

The many elements and characters of protesting are greatly overlooked, particularly when mainstream media curates images and videos in a way that caters to their own biases.
