I never understood why they’re called public schools!

A reminder for those of us in the UK that "public school" in the US means something quite different. It is the equivalent of saying "state school".

I don't think that the game will change anyone's opinion one way or another. Tho better, still a defeat so those who want CD to leave won't change their minds. Conversely, not a bad performance so those supporting CD won't suddenly change their minds based on that.

Yes. It feels worse because he seems like a good bloke, and it could well happen sooner rather than later.

Sometimes there is a tipping point, or final straw, when it comes to managerial changes in football. Although a formal decision might be a few weeks away, I wonder if today was that tipping point at Blues.

Should Blues keep Chris Davies? Close call for me, but I think not even tho I like him. IMO we should be better with the players we have. The creative part of midfield and no 10 position not working. Players such as Cashin & Koumas doing better elsewhere.

I’m wondering in which direction the SWs are heading. Is this part of an ongoing rehabilitation, or are they intending to build up his life (job, therapy, family) only to take it all away in some way and see his life spiral downwards again?
Hopefully not the latter, but we’ll see.

I'm unsure. I feel that we should be doing better with the players that we now have. But, if we sack Davies, we aren't going to get a proven top manager coming to a mid-table Championship team.
