Over the last many years, & def couple weeks, I keep thinking of Deitrich, Stephen Fry's character from "V for Vendetta," and how at some point under this regime someone is going to have to protect the comedians and creators of satirical content. And definitely the press.

Cats sure do hate change to their routine! Getting cats to drink can be a challenge because they get most moisture from their food. We do the broth packets and Gravy Lovers canned, with dry food only being a tiny portion of their diet.

Sorry to hear about your kitty! Oreo gets pancreatitis ~every 18 mos, usually triggered by stress (he's very sensitive so even family visiting can do it). We keep stress as low as possible & he's on a strict low-fat, high-hydration diet (incl treats). Other meds incl antiemetics & antidiarrheals.

Rough week for Oreo -- pancreatitis is back again. Off to get fluids, painkillers, anti-nausea and anti-diarrhea meds. Poor dude. This is always a 1-2 day hospital stay. No one knows what causes it. Heartbreaking every time.
