When that guy from Blessid Union of Souls was like "She don't care about my big screen or my collection of DVDs" (bit of an odd flex even for 1999), do we think that he was just very impressed with himself, or had he previously dated someone who was only into him because he had The Waterboy AND Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo? If we're gonna truly understand this song, these are the kinds of questions we need to be comfortable asking.

(The thing that took the most time on this, if I remember correctly, was that guitar tone. I tried every plugin I had, paid and free, and I just could NOT find a decent 70s rock guitar tone...except in Logic Pro. I may dislike actually recording in it, but the presets in that thing are unmatched).

I think I just realized that AI is basically James Cameron talking about Avatar - it's expensive, it ripped off an earlier story, it mostly doesn't work as a product, it's hard to find anyone who likes it, and rich executives are always telling you how great it is because they spent a ton of money on it and need it to be successful, whether or not it's actually good for the world.
I don't know about that, but I will say that great wealth is like the One Ring: Often the person with it thinks they are wielding it, but ultimately it wields them, and for its own ends, not theirs. It takes a strong person to resist its temptations, and that sort of person is not likely to seek it.

Three AI executives admitting everyone hates their product this week.
Earlier today, Google search started displaying in AI mode only (desktop). I disabled some things, which didn't work. I factory-reset Chrome, and that did it...for 3 hours. Now it once again will only display searches in AI Mode.
I cannot describe how much I hate this. Anyone encounter before?

That IS an important issue, Senator, but the President's personal police force just straight-up murdered a woman today, and that was *after* he kidnapped a world leader, stole their resources, and gave the money to himself, so we're KINDA BUSY RIGHT NOW.
