I appreciate some pushback on the whole 'war & expansionism is a distraction from the files', but perhaps both are just the end result of exploitative class relations. Like, they don't have to be strategic, just both the end result of capitalism. I could also be taking this too seriously.

Same over in Aus, I think we have the highest landlordship rates in the world. Like 10% of our population. Plus so much of our savings are, by default, tied up in the stock market. They don't make it easy ☠️

The stock market, through it's inherent structure, is an extraction of surplus value from the working class. Profits don't materialise out of thin air.

The most conservative people I know are generally well off; our managers, business owners & investors. People who want to further the capitalist system, distract us from revolution. The narrative that conservatives are overwhelmingly 'poor' is capitalist propaganda meant to divide the working class.
