I have a trailcam installed that monitors my driveway, works great and only costs about $75 on amazon. They have built in WiFi so you can just get near it with your phone app and download the pics/video.

Lots of trees there for a couple of conveniently placed trailcams would put an end to the vandalism.

As if it would be so much cheaper if a pipeline ran cross country.
