🦀 In October, the BIOPOLIS and CSIC-ICM teams conducted an eDNA campaign, collecting data from water samples. The event brought together citizen scientists, united in their mission to promote biodiversity monitoring across Europe. 🔍

📣Results of BioMARató 2025 are out! It achieved the impressive 94,000 observations of 2,040 species, all thanks to its 520 dedicated participants, who contributed to the world of science by mapping Catalan biodiversity. 🦀

In total, 3407 snapshots were taken and uploaded on the MINKA participatory citizen observatory, in which 262 species were identified. This is a huge success and ANERIS is glad to contribute to valuable knowledge exchange for marine science!🌊🪸
