Oh definitely. Iām sure of it!
I borrowed a historical guide to Suffolk & Norfolk by MR James from there yesterday. Iām the first person to take it out for 5 years!

Good to see the National Liberal Club terrace being used š
Well the next time youāre there (and if you havenāt already found it) Iād recommend looking up Richard Colt Hoareās Ancient History of Wiltshire.
If Iād ever got around to starting a research project then it would probably have been on this.
"The woman in the denim jacket has extra long fingers on her left hand and what appear to be six fingers on her right. The man in the white jacket (fourth from the left) doesnāt appear to be gripping his sign at all."
I thought there might be a connection there! Iām a (deeply) resting archaeologist! The other establishments might be interestingā¦
Sure. The Dems rigged the 2020 election against a sitting President but were unable to rig the 2024 election when they controlled the federal machinery š
No problem. BTW if you fancy a look around the Society of Antiquaries and a couple of nearby clubs then let me know? For research purposes obviously although a drink or two might feasibly be involvedā¦

The Lovecraft Investigations is hands down the best podcast fiction to have been produced in the last 10 years. Crowdfunder for new series here ( no £ needed now!): www.backerkit.com/call_to_acti...
(original series here: www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/serie...)
Do check out both! You wonāt regret it.
Photo of one the side chapels at St Maryās Beverley taken at a concert tonight. It had a slightly creepy feel.
Iāll never get tired of watching people in Budapest celebrating getting rid of Viktor OrbĆ”n.
Iām dancing along with the people of Hungary!

I spent 16, SIXTEEN years fighting this crap.
I canāt believe it š

Well Iāve got an update on this. The book was published in 1767 by a pirate publisher in Scotland who was breaking copyright laws of the time. The laws changed about 10 years later.
HT to Mark T (who isnāt on here) for the detail. š
CAN I ASK A FAVOUR? šš
Weāre trying to get Nicky Willshere elected for the LibDems in Suffolk.

Love the design. Great find too. Iām currently thinking mine is about 1750 as one of the booksellers mentioned retired in 1757.
And it was eight quid š
I picked this up in a bookstall yesterday. I canāt find a match for the binding style or the āsold byā individuals. Iām guessing itās from around 1800. Any ideas?

Israel's continued strikes in Lebanon are undermining any hope of peace.
The UK must act now: sanction Benjamin Netanyahu and his security cabinet, and halt all UK arms exports to Israel.
We must also finally proscribe the IRGC and support multilateral plans to disarm Hezbollah.

I would strongly advise Zelenskyy to ignore this guy. He was hopeless in 10 Downing Street.
My daughter still hasnāt forgiven you for āFrisbeeā!
The Day My Dog Spontaneously Combusted there he was ā chasing sticks, doing tricks, and all that stuff next minute, woof Brian Bilston
Todayās poem is called āThe Day My Dog Spontaneously Combustedā.
Well the tarot deck is covered but certainly not aware of the Matthew Taylor connection. Thank you!
Yes. I heard that too in this:

Fun fact: Aleister "The Wickedest Man in the World" Crowley lived behind Paxton & Whitfield cheese shop on Jermyn Street in London at the beginning of the Second World War. After becoming distressed by the bombing he moved to Aston Clinton in Buckinghamshire.

Good luck Lucy!
Nearly got me there, Tim! š
Anyone but #REFUK - as voters in North Walsham have been telling us on the doorsteps today! People here know a good councillor when they see one - and Iām sure will re-elect local champion, County Councillor Lucy Shires, on 7th May š³ļø
Iāve just attended Farageās festival of falsehoods in Norwich.
Robert Jenrick was weak and creepy.
David Bull lied as soon as he spoke.
And Farage? Just boring and mean-spirited old lines.
The(very old)audience lapped up the racist dog whistles and snarky personal attacks. Underwhelming!
Slept in my Chicago t-shirt last night and woke up at 25 or 6 to 4
