We’re going to try pushing as much money into paying things down. We don’t want to keep cycling debt until we have to declare bankruptcy…and it’s especially hard to ask for help even from those we know, but we are going to push ourselves out of this hole somehow. We want to be free o.=.o [2/2]
We’re about to start working on getting out of debt as quickly as we can. It will not be an easy process, but we’re almost in the best position to do it. We have over $5k of credit cards to pay off, and an IRS bill that is almost paid off, but the biggest issue will be student loans. [1/2]
We now have a psychiatrist that manages our ADHD and mood stabilizer meds…we’re still getting used to things, but at least we’re getting what we need to mentally cope with things. It’s been a very difficult process, but now that we have insurance, it helps immensely!
After too long, we finally got three vaccines: Flu, Covid-19 booster, and HPV. It’s been way too long since we have gotten these, and our body is not liking it. Headache, body ache, and the injection sites are definitely sore.
At least we’ll be protected, heh…rawr…

There's a server (64 GB), main gaming computer (32 GB), secondary (16 GB) and second server (16 GB)
We have 2 servers, 2 computers, and 4 laptops o.=.o;;
Never again should we have to live in fear of such an "organization." Literally killing in cold blood, for no reason whatsoever. Nobody deserves this.
It will take a long time to implement, but it will ideally future-proof some of the homelab so we can implement more software and automated functions. That's the idea, at least ^.=.^
The plan is basically:
Old server: UnRAID with all data storage (easier to migrate that way)
Main server: Proxmox with core functionalities and direct link to data server
Two laptops: Proxmox cluster tied to main server to have HA for some functions
Two other laptops: core routing of DNS, mirrored.
Having said that, we'll probably be redoing the entire setup. We just got our old 2014 computer back and will probably fix that as the main data controller and then use the newer hardware for the actual running of software, that way it can actually keep everything a lot easier to manage. Whee!
So glad we upgraded our server last year after the Mobo decided not to post. Even though we put some of the cost on a credit card, the investment was absolutely worth a lot more than attempting to pay for any parts now. 64 GB RAM is also very nice to house on a server lol

Absolutely this! We have been trying for literally years to find the right thing for us to help our own conditions. It’s not ever perfect, but it is a lot better than before we were on meds. Vyvanse, Pristiq, and some extra Vitamin D3 (prescribed) have been helping a lot! ^.=.^
BTW, though it shouldn't need to be said (but apparently does anyway), but what has happened in Venezuela is absolutely horrific and inexcusable. We can only hope this madness ends.
2026 is gonna be our year! We got back on Vyvanse, we're getting into a better mental state, and we're about to really push things forward. We're still getting acclimated to new medications, but things are turning around for the better.

Apple, Google, Microsoft. Every big tech company can do this and there is no recourse unless they say there is. Only way to fight back is to self-host things and make your own servers. At least then, if the devices get shut off, you'll have the data still.
