Apparently Bungie has the power to just cross-fade objects and global sky/atmosphere parameters based on what part of the map you're in

Portal should NOT remove content. A redesign might be in order, but I'd happily help for free at this point.
Portal should be the directory for new, old, and existing activities, while Worlds should be about exploring.

I love this game, and I've even introduced it to my significant other. But I've found it hard to recommend D2 for its story, even though its story experience has been one of my absolute favourites. I've even said to my partner that she should wait in case old stories return.

I and many others that I have spoken to agree that removing content is the worst way to move forward. However, we understand that there are certain limits. But the way this game is going to survive is by bringing in New Lights. Removing content will lose those players.

Do NOT remove content from the Destint 2 Portal. It should be the hub for all activities; new, old, and existing. Worlds should be about exploring Sol. Portal should be about fighting back to reclaim Sol. It is also the only place to play previous content that's been released

If it's hardware limitations, stop supporting last generation consoles. They're not helping the health of the game and the internal hard drives are too slow for the game. Current gen and next gen must be the only ones supported if the game is to survive.
Do NOT remove any content from the Portal. If UI space is an issue, divide into release/activity type. Activity types can range from Strikes to Battlegrounds, Exotic missions to Raid & Dungeons. Removing content is the worst thing you can do #vanguardalerts #d2portal #destiny2 #bungie

More to this, bringing back the vaulted Patrol zones will help tremendously. Even if just the Tangled Shore and the Derelict Leviathan return before the rest, so long as all of them return, then the game will be in a more complete state for New Lights
