Yeah? I bet you missed the nyckelharpa on Never Mind the Bollocks.

Same here but chess.
Thanks for the airtime, much appreciated!
Cheers! It’s been interesting, making the tight space work. I bought the Zoom Live6mix for my live rig, but it also replaces the full-sized Soundcraft mixer that was crammed in there. It’s on MIDI duty too, so I’ve also retired my Focusrite I/O. Acres (well, centimetres) of reclaimed desktop!
Don’t make me drone on about it again (see what I did there?) 😆
A bit of woodwork and a dash of gadget Feng Shui in the cupboard studio prompted by the new mixer/interface. Feels like there’s acres of space now, but it’s only a matter of time before I clutter it up again.
A lovely track from my chum Buhduzit.

A table covered with various items: iPad, MicroFreak synth, Audio-Technica headphones, a book on abandoned railway architecture, magazines, paperwork, stationery, sketches and notes. In short, my happy place.
The view from Sunday morning. Around this time of year we migrate like birds into the conservatory for the summer (in the winter it’s "the big fridge"). In a tradition that started during lockdown, we have half the big table each as personal office space. There are often border skirmishes.
Honey, I Shrunk the Mids.
You misspelled likefdygzced.
Still have the original VHS release somewhere.
I’ll tell you how I operate for half that.
😆
I catch twice the amount with my 244.
Viz solved the problem years ago.
Meanwhile, about a billion years ago…
I recall updates where they said "we’re doing more interviews!” and thinking good grief, how long will this documentary be?
One or two updates a year saying "we’re still working on it!" The last post was late 2023 bemoaning the fact that the pandemic had slowed progress. Which was a bit rich given that they had burned seven years up to that point. And now we’re over two years since that update. Patience is a virtue? 😆
I’m twelve years into a Kickstarter documentary on Moondog that’s still never seen the light of day. I was only in for something like $30 but I do wonder if that’s a record length of time without a concrete admission that a project has been abandoned.
I’ve got a pic like that somewhere but it’s WAY older! 😆
I like the suggestion that "Faery Bridge" is a corruption of "Ferro-bridge", a term referencing its ferro-concrete construction, drawing a little bit of magic from the mundane. Reminds me of a bridge in my hometown where its boring official title was replaced colloquially by "Snake Bridge"
Splendid set from Wor_kspace at the Glad Cafe Glasgow, 07/04/26.
Sometimes I hear a bit of Bach and think it sounds weird because it isn’t the original Wendy Carlos version.
I was into heptadecagons before anybody.
I didn’t see the Sex Pistols at Manchester Free Trade Hall and consequently didn’t start a Punk band.
Haha! Yeah, that’s the place. 😆
You need a holiday in Scotland. 😆
I’d encourage you to make a noise with whatever comes to hand. A secondhand Casio and a cheap effects pedal, there’s yer drone machine right there! The LYRA-8 pushed me over the edge. Fire it up for five minutes and you’re there for an hour, lost in dronnnnnnnes. I still don’t know what it’s for. 😆
