If they made one more, they would have shot their combined average. So those are the guys they should want to shoot the 3.

Similarly, C's missed a lot of open 3's but did the Sixers do a good job forcing certain players to take those 3's? and in situations that maybe weren't ideal? Detrick got me to look this up but Brown, White and Tatum have not been very good at shooting 3s this year. They shot 30 last night at 30%.

Good shot quality is hopefully the thing that they continue to create the shot execution will come and go.

I wonder if the shots felt open in the first game, vs how they felt last night. when the context is removed, we aren't seeing how the game was experienced/ time works.

and a .1 for every point ahead, no?

Luckily tonight they aren't missing a single shot.

I know iam going to be frustrated with their trapping and giving up open 3’s. Reality is they probably do need to create turnovers to win. have to mix it up and play straight up against tatum and brown. but also defend like they did second half against CHA.

turns out PG is a better defender than miles bridges who knew.

For sure. lack of shooting and lack of movement! But you can’t blame them for not guarding a team that wasn’t there. both teams went through stretches on offense where they just appears to be zero chemistry. Very frustrating. sixers luckily have better shooters.

I think you captured well the tension, joy, and lack of overall hope for the season. I do think the Sixers had a great defensive game and so they did win it more than ORL lost it. ORL just isn't very good and their best player (by far?) is coming back from significant injury.

Yeah the magic didn’t even get good looks. we did!

I was losing it. they failed to get separation over and over. to then just pull away at the end with fantastic defense and hustle. amazing

Good night to those Mickey Mouse motherfuckers. i feel like this was a seven game series. Yelling at Bane and his crocodile arms.

Onwards to Boston.

Yeah grimes was very inconsistent in a role where they needed his production badly.

This is good assessment. I might give PG and Embiid C+ because there is some relief that when healthy they are still very good at basketball. I didn't think Watford got a fair shot. But he might only be a good fit with Jo. Bona seems lost. Need more from Edwards, the recent flashes have been nice.

If the Sixers make the playoffs it’s hard to see them winning more than one game. I‘m all for it, I remember the Lou Williams shot against the heat fondly.

But would you rather get beat down by the Celtics or pistons? or have the very small chance of keeping the pick?

Esp against ORL who just are so mediocore.

If they played a different style that included more three point shooters and 3 point shots, and were just as bad I would be more confident in them winning. But I feel like they play too straight up to likley get an upset. however Maxey could or maybe PG could go off and they get enough help to win.

* as long as they stick their late first rd pick!

for what’s it worth it will be the first time in a couple years Jo won’t be recovering from a knee surgery.

Or recovering from an injury sustained playing basketball for first time ever?

down 17 with little to no playoff hopes and I cant help thinking that I love my sixers.

Don't forget that Jo hit Wemby with a step back 3 while suffering appendicitis for at least a week.

Hopefully this makes it less likely they trade him and next year will really be the year. hahahaha.

Now if he tweets "they won't let me play" or they say he slept through film session. I could be very wrong lol.

but I really think he wants to play and the team to do well. I missed most of the SA game. but the way he was playing against MIN demonstrated to me that he's invested on the court.

and I don't see him sitting out this important game to send a message. I don't think he's that petty, I think he's too competitive, and I think he cames about the guys on the team too much to do that.

I think different opinions on his injuries over the last two years has caused tension in the org. The lines of communication seem to be in bad shape if not completely broken down.

I still think there's zero chance that he's not really sick. My family had stomach flu three times this winter.

Yeah, that's what I am not looking into. will wait for someone else to explain all that lol.

that would guarantee 7th seed with a 2-1 one record in final three (I think).

All we need is Timberwolves to step up in ORL tonight. Wolfpack howl at the waxing moon.

Ideally I think we want raptors and Miami to split Next two games? Hard To care who wins unless we know what Sixers are going through to do.
