“James Madison, The ‘OG’ of DOGE” —James Madison and his fellow Framers designed a Constitution to prevent voluminous and incomprehensible laws and regulations. We’ve strayed far from that plan, requiring change. My column in yesterday’s The Daily Signal. www.dailysignal.com/2025/03/04/j...
Pleased to see that there are features of my January 15 @bloomberglaw.com proposal reflected in today's EO "Ensuring Lawful Governance & Implementing the President’s 'DOGE' Deregulatory Initiative" (at www.whitehouse.gov/presidential...) / See: news.bloomberglaw.com/tax-insights...
If you've followed @jzigoris.bsky.social's fantastic, award-winning reporting on the cache of artwork found on an SF park bench, I'm pleased to say we have another update in this ever-evolving mystery (and it's really satisfying):

A low concrete bench with a bush behind it and an apartment building beyond it
In 2022, employees from the Port of San Francisco discovered 48 abandoned artworks in Crane Cove Park on this bench. Now those works, many of them by an obscure but important Jewish artist Ary Lochakov, are headed back to Paris.
They will become part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Jewish Art and History, a beautiful end to a thrilling story. But is it the end? New information continues to emerge all the time, as my story coming out next week will detail. #lochakov #lochakow #art #mystery #sf #sanfrancisco
