These conversations help ensure the Government understands the realities local businesses face.
I join Canadians in grieving the innocent lives lost in Tumbler Ridge and praying for the injured. In the House, we held a moment of silence to honour them. We stand with the victims, their loved ones, and the community. Grateful for the courage of school staff and first responders.
I am devastated by the horrific shootings in Tumbler Ridge, B.C. My prayers and deepest condolences are with the families and friends who have lost loved ones to these horrific acts of violence.

We call on the Iranian regime to end its repression and respect the human rights of all Iranians, including freedom of expression and peaceful assembly.
The Iranian regime’s violence, arbitrary arrests, and intimidation against its own people are unacceptable. Canada stands with the brave people of Iran and strongly condemns the killing of peaceful protesters.

Over the past months, many have encouraged me to run for Ontario Liberal leader. After reflecting, I believe I can make the greatest impact by continuing to serve as Burlington’s MP. I’m grateful for your trust. Read my full statement below.
