As the post Christmas food coma lifts, I pondered what happened when Christmas Day fell on a Friday in 1970, 1981, 1987 and 1992 how Thames handed over to LWT. Was there a programme break / proper handover at 7pm (pre-1982) and 5:15pm (post-1982) ?
