Great! I hope you have a lot of fun!
A character submission for a Mega Man 6 art contest to help choose new Mega Man bosses before development. This shows a character called "Black Man" who appears as just a humanoid similar to mega man with arm cannon, red, yellow and grey armor, with a black durag style helmet on his head.
Nintendo Power: hey fans, we want your ideas for Mega Man 6 bosses

Hey! VIDEO GAME COLLECTORS! Question for you...
๐ซDo you collect physical games because:
- You like physically owning your media
- You like to collect rare, valuable games
- They look great on your shelf and you love the nostalgia
- You're investing in games you'll eventually sell
- Another reason*
I've got the next few episodes planned out, but somewhere down the line it's possible I'll get to Double Dragon ๐
Yea, but the difference is when I dig into that experience on their resume and they can't answer my questions, I assume they're lying or embellishing. In this case, they're actively using AI to answer direct questions they can't normally prepare for, ya know? But I do agree with your main point.
I'm against it because Gen AI steals reference imagery made by artists to make that stuff. I either hire someone online to make something that I can't, or I learn. Canva has been pretty clutch for simple image work, so I'd recommend just learning on your own or pay an artist to make you something!
'Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos' (NES) is now 36 years old!
You wanna talk about games that really put meaning to "NES Hard"? The original Ninja Gaiden trilogy is up there. This one is probably the "easiest" of the three, but.. it's still hard!
Which Ninja Gaiden titles do YOU like?
Really? I feel like it's getting more common, unfortunately.
I wish, Jeff. It happens more often too.
Yea, the Gen AI stuff is too much, if it has to reference artist's work to do anything, it's just lifting it and I just don't feel comfortable with the usage after everything I've learned.
As a simple tool it's fine, but it's something you still have to fact-check. It's not ready.
The only team I'd build would be a bunch of people hanging out, playing N64 and SEGA Genesis while eating pizza.
Right? Like you type in 2 + 2 but it tells you "Hamburger buns CAN come in packages of 4, but never 2."
It's almost as if they're more concerned about profiting off of investment and need everyone to adopt it like an early bird business bro.
You know what it reminds me of? It rhymes with NFT...
I don't like Gen AI, but I'm not against AI being used as a tool to ASSIST us with simple tasks. Calculators pissed a lot of people off for bypassing "the work", but whatever.
But it isn't "incredible" when it's barely IN the oven, been pushed hard anyway, and is being relied on by people SO much.
So, I'm a Recruiter.
I can't tell you how many candidates will straight up use Chat GPT to look up and read answers to my questions WHILE I'M ASKING THEM.
I sometimes hear them typing, or notice the unnatural sentence structure, sure, but the ๐ง๐๐๐ก giveaway?
The answers are almost always ๐ฌ๐ง๐ค๐ฃ๐.
An image with four quadrants, top left is a white Dreamcast with purple hue light over it, top right is a black original model PS2 laying on it's side, bottom left is an indigo colored GameCube standing upright, and bottom right is an original XBOX sitting on a green surface.
The 6th Console Generation.
I believe this is one of the best overall eras of video games, and it's easy to see why when you look at these four titans and think about just how heavy hitting their game libraries are.
You just cannot go wrong with any of them if you're looking to play great games.
Oh HELL no. I know some went back, but I can't imagine being there anymore now. It's a hellhole.

.... did you get it? ๐
It took an eternity for me to listen to the whole thing, but I'm so glad I did. It's a reminder why Pat is one of the GOATs of the gaming community. The way he writes and speaks is so full of devotion and passion for this wonderful thing we all share love for: videogames. I sincerely hope (...)
You're awesome, JC. Thank you so much my man.
I think they're getting there, the last one I tried worked surprisingly well... Just can't remember which one lol.
IMO the Dreamcast was ahead of its time, despite the longevity of it. It also has games that were incredibly heavy hitting and influential.
It's hard to deny how strong it is, it gave us so many top-tier and revolutionary games.
Damn, that looks HEARTY sir. ๐ค
I didn't mention them just because I usually separate them into their own category, however they are still very much a strong part. I loved my Game Boy!
4th, 5th, and 6th gens are my favorite overall. I love every single console in those gens. 3rd is close, but mainly for NES, Game Boy if we count it, and SEGA Master System.
I'm with my evangelical family and made it through blessing the food only half-cringing, so that's a good start. ๐
