Eden turned her face away and pushed her plate to the center of the table. "I'm full.", before she made her way upstairs.
"Eden wait, we can work this out!" Aziraphale called but Eden ignored her Papa...she had never done that before.
Aziraphale glared daggers at Crowley.
"Wot?"

"Then what is the right age for me to be old enough to date?" Eden demanded.
"Oh I'd say.....nine hundred years at least....but there will be no man or woman who'll ever be good enough for my baby girl."

" So you don't trust me." Eden's face fell and Crowley immediately corrected himself. "Oh Queenie of course I trust you, it's humans I don't trust, and you're still much too young to be dating."

"But Dad, in human years I'm an adult! And I can take care of myself."
"Twenty four may be an adult for a human but for our kind, you are still just a kid and I will not stand for anyone getting handsy with my little girl!"

"Well for one thing, you're too young Eden Alexandria Queen Fell! Was some punk gawking at ya today? Or was it a Lesbian?! Steer clear of both genders!" Crowley hissed.
"Crowley!" Aziraphale scolded.

Crowley choked on his wine and Aziraphale gazed at his daughter in bewilderment. "Why love, why would you ask something like that?"
Eden shrugged. "Just wonderin'."

He and Crowley shared another glance as Eden continued to poke at the food on her plate, not even making eye contact.
Crowley and Aziraphale went back and forth for a bit until Eden cut in. "Daddy, Papa, what's dating like?"

"Maybe Eden can talk with the fox if it comes back? Ask it to not dig things up?" Aziraphale turned to Eden, hoping she would join in the conversation. She had been strangely quiet all evening.

"At night?" Crowley, who could see in the dark, waited quietly and patiently to catch the culprit and failed miserably. The pissed off demon came back inside streaked in dirt and grime. Both Aziraphale and Eden had a good laugh at the sight.

I'm telling you angel, that bugger was huge! I'd never seen a fox that big in all my existence!" Foxes had been digging up the flower beds, destroying his tulip patch.
"Oh Crowley, I'm sure it means no harm, it probably just wants to come play with Eden." That was a common occurrence at South Downs.

As quickly as she started to eat, she realized she wasn't all that hungry anymore so she began to poke and prod her food.

Eden was eating her supper as quickly, and as politely as possible, her Papa would not approve of her ever using bad table manners, so she focused on her meal, not really listening to her father's conversation.

Crowley watched Eden with concern.

Eden was aware of her father’s concerned looks, but she didn’t acknowledge them, especially Crowley’s. He definitely wouldn’t understand….
