Anyone who says that Hollywood has no new ideas REALLY needs to watch Hundreds of Beavers. I can honestly say I've never seen anything quite like this.
It's a Studio Ghibli inspired D&D 5e variant/setting
I have one NPC who brought printing press technology from a distant land. I have a group who has contracted to produce daily broadsheets. Just one page, front and back. But it's fun to have headlines.
ABI Bouhmaida @forgoodcode Every Windows 11 PC is now an Al PC with Copilot at the center of it all. Here's how to get rid of Copilot completely from your computer (1/3)
ABI Bouhmaida @forgoodcode 1/ Settings App > Personalization > Taskbar > Other System Tray Icons > Switch "Microsoft 365 Copilot App" Off This hides Copilot from your taskbar
(9) ABI Bouhmaida @forgoodcode 2/ Press Win + R > Type in ‘regedit’ > Navigate to "HKEY _CURRENT_USER\ Software \ Policie s\Microsoft\ Windows" > Right-click on the "Windows" Key > New > Key > Name the new key "WindowsCopilot’ > Right-click on the new key EY > DWORD (32-bit) Value
@forgoodcode 3/ > Name the value "TurnOffWindowsCopilot’ > Double-click the name of the value > Set the "Value Data" to 1 > Restart your computer Congrats! Copilot is now completely gone from your computer. Hope this helps
My new favorite kind of meme is "here are detailed instructions on how to turn off AI". 🔨
I refer to it as having a strongly keyed memory. What did I do Saturday? No idea, because I've had a lot of Saturdays. When did I last go to the mall? That was last Saturday, because "going to the mall" is a very distinct sensory experience.
"how did you get into ttrpgs"
I read D'Aulaire's and Narnia and TTRPGS just grew around me like a cocoon.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.
Short version: Con game. GM is late due to running a demo. Had not prepped ANYTHING. We meandered for a while. Then spent 30 minutes being introduced to the party from his home game. Then capped it off with a random puzzle that did not fit the genre at all. Exhaustingly frustrating.
I kind of like "Working Families". But I would also absolutely support the Woke Party, the Social Justice Warrior Party, or the Virtue Signaling Party.
NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.
Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.
Baron Munchausen. The Cat in the Hat. Amelia Bedelia.
Mister Roark is a great pull!
Just saw a video for this at the Alamo pre show. That's a hell of a good song. youtu.be/HLZCwSc1ibo?...
We saw Bogonia last night. Super weird, fairly disturbing, but exceptionally well done. Emma Stone and Jesse Plemmons are fantastic. The plot is INSANE and the twists just don't stop. I don't know that I want to see it again, but I'm very glad I saw it.
The beholder Xanathar admires his goldfish
Did this picture of Xanathar from The Official Dungeons and Dragons Coloring Book a couple weeks ago. Finished inking it tonight. It made a big difference. Very happy with it. #dnd #ttrpg #watercolor
Nah, they're mostly spending Lockheed Martin's bribes.
I want to live in a world where we can dance if we want to, but we refuse to leave our friends behind even if they don't dance.
Former Chris Christie aid Kevin Tomafsky sentenced to ten years in prison for raping a 6 year old.
His victim will still be a minor when he’s released.
There’s something wrong with the sentencing guidelines when a man who does this to a child can be out before the child even reaches adulthood.
It's also frequently wild to hear the adjectives they choose to use. And the connections they make. I have them recap every session just to see what they think of the NPCs.
I had a character die that way once. Best character death of my life.
Uber is a great invention like the cotton gin. The idea is good, but it also enables some really shitty business practices.
Cities are developing a new approach to developing housing: Integrating it into mixed-use library projects. These investments improve neighborhood vitality, add housing & improve services.
In new research @urbaninstitute.bsky.social, I create a database of such projects & point to success stories ⏬
I just tried the virtual trying on process with Zelool yesterday. I liked it. We'll see if the glasses match the picture.
Are there cities that have a desperate need for teen workers? Or even rural areas?
I've also never seen The Big Lebowski, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, or Love Actually. Also on my list are Jaws, Godfather, or any Tarantino movie.
I mean, it worked for Helen Keller
